By late-morning, the temperature in Cordoba was already above 35 degrees and rising. We amused ourselves by hiding in the cool shade of the doorways and peering into the meticulously tended, tiled and colourfully pot-plant festooned patios.
For the ultimate game of “alpaca hide-n-seek” (where the alpaca always gets to hide!) we visited the exquisite Mezquita and spent an hour or two in utter amazement, getting lost among the ancient arches.
One morning we found ourselves in Plaza de la Corredera, where mere centuries earlier the Inquisition was performing ritual burnings at the stake. On this fine morning we gladly settled on chunky slices of burnt toast.

Being a finger puppet, it's easy to get lost in the crowd. Sure, being small has its advantages; like sneaking into clubs, travelling around the world for free, etc etc ... but often I don't feel people hear the real me and when they do they giggle and stroke me. I can hear them now "Oh cool, a finger puppet. Isn't he cute?"
So here I am, larger than life, blogging away. You can call me Big Al.
